Information:
Mountain View Conservation and Breeding Centre is a leading non-profit
Canadian facility that hosts endangered wildlife species, in family
groups, for re-introduction back into their natural habitat in
Canada, and around the world.

All ages, especially children who love animals!
Hours of Operation:
Mountain View Conservation Centre is open for visitor tours seven
days a week, all year round. However, your tour tickets must be
reserved in advance, so please call the Centre at least a couple
of days in advance to book your tour date, time, and numbers of
guests!

What
is there to Do and See?
Mountain View Conservation now hosts over 50 species of the world's
most rare and endangered wildlife. For example, as a partner in
the Canadian Marmot Recovery Program, seven baby Vancouver Island
Marmots were born here in 2006 for re-introduction programs back
into their natural habitat.
From Andean Condor
to Masai Giraffes, Aardwolves to Zebras, Mountain View Conservation
is host to over 50 Species of amazing animals from all over the
world: Fossa & Lemur from Madagascar, Cape Painted Hunting
Dogs from Africa(now considered to be one of the most endangered
species) to South American Tapirs. From Cheetah to Fishing Cats,
there are over 15 species of wild cats alone!
Mountain View
also houses over 30% of the captive population of Vancouver Island
Marmot, one of the rarest mammals in the world. Book a tour to
discover more. You'll enjoy a narrated drive through the grounds
and get up close and personal with some of the world's most beautiful
creatures.
They also offer birthday parties! Want to have a unique birthday?
How about enjoying birthday cake amongst yipping African Painted
Hunting Dogs and Huge Grazing Masai Giraffes, and Zebras? Would
you like to meet Ivan the Indian Rhinocerous? Not only do our
birthday programs teach children about conservation, they also
provide a memorable birthday!
