I would appreciate so much if you would take a few minutes out of your day to vote for me. Your vote mean a lot to me. It would give me a chance to take my web site to a new level. I started this web site over 4 years ago and it started more as a hobby. It has now become a full time job, with the the new web site and new ideas to come winning this award would be a helpful and wonderful step to allow me to stay a “stay at home” mom and continue with Kids Vancouver and allow me to work on my future ideas for the web site. This would be a great opportunity!
Want to know more about me? I live in North Delta and I am a happily married mom of two kids. My daughter who is 5 going on 15 some days and I have a son who is 1 ½ years old who apparently is going to be a future climber of Mount Everest. I love being a mom and I love to keep them busy with fun events that is why I love running this web site. I love sharing ideas with other parents, events, deals, resources and more!
Please hit the vote button and help me continue Kids Vancouver! I really do appreciate your time and your support!
My daughter and I found some great plain colourful shirts at Children's Place with 30% off so each shirt was only $2.99. Great deal, but pretty "boring" for a 5 year old. So we went on Etsy to look for fabric appliques. This is a great project for the non-sewer, as I am not even the slightest bit of a sewer.
What is Etsy? It is focused on handmade or vintage items as well as art and craft supplies. These items cover a wide range including art, photography, clothing, jewelry, edibles, bath &

1. smart phone - preferably an iphone, but any that have a big screen will work - this is not so you can text, email and facebook until your heart's content (well, ok, maybe it is) but it also works as a GREAT flashlight for middle of the night feeds, nappy changes and temperature checks. Apps also serve as a great distraction when you're out and about. Cost = priceless!

This has a small but fun water park. I take my 5 year old and one year old and they love it. The water park is completely fenced in, I love it as it is great for the little ones, making you feel more at ease to stay within the fenced area. Water canons, sprayers, toddler size sprayers and even a fun push button to turn the water back on.

From the moment your child is born - nay, conceived - the race is on. The clock is ticking and you’re frantically looking for daycare space, researching preschools, hunting for the right elementary school. Some parents use the scattershot method of applying willy-nilly for every facility and school within their proximity. Others comb through reports and test scores. I’ve always found that one of the most valuable approaches is talking to other parents. Small talk at the playground often reveals the kind of important but unquantifiable information impossible to find anywhere else. Opinions and anecdotes provide the extra - and human - dimension to a school or daycare’s profile.
