other pollinators!  We can all help to provide a healthy habitat for
pollinators in our own patios and gardens.

11:30am-2:30pm FREE professional Face Painting for KIDS by Creative LIME!  Jenna is a local, Emily Carr University graduate that began Creative Lime 10 years ago.  Creative Lime provides Art for All and strives to add a magical touch to any occasion with a creative, funky flair of fun.

12:00-12:30pm KIDS PLANT A VEGGIE GARDEN
Each child will plant a container with veggie starter plants and take it home!  $5 ($5.25 incl. tax) per child workshop fee includes the cost of materials.  Ages 7 and under need adult participation.  Please register in advance.

A FREE seminar where Mike Lascelle will speak about the different types of Native Plants that are available, as well as the benefits of using them in our landscape!  Also receive 20% OFF All Native Plants on this day!

1:00-1:20pm FREE KIDS SALMON SURVIVAL ~ Interactive Presentation for Kids
FREE interactive presentation by Ross Davies of K.E.E.P.S.(Kanaka Education and Environmental Partnership Society).  Join Ross as he goes through the whole life cycle of salmon.  Kids can participate in his game to learn which salmon survives to spawn!

1:30-1:50pm FREE BUTTERFLY GARDEN TALK
Join Hendrik as he talks about which plants will attract, as well as keep butterflies in your garden.  He will discuss the nectar sources for butterflies, as well as the food plants for their caterpillar stage.

2:00-2:30pm KIDS STRAWBERRY BASKET WORKSHOP
Kids plant their own Strawberry Hanging Basket and take it home!
$10.50 (incl. tax) per child workshop fee includes the cost of materials.  Ages 7 and under need adult participation.  Please register in advance.
