More Lights & More Nights!

This year, the Light Festival at Bear Creek Park will run for seven nights and will feature more lights than ever!

The City of Surrey and Telus invite you to experience the Light Festival this fall in Bear Creek Park Sunday, November 4 to Saturday, November 10. Admire illuminated trees, dazzling displays, and sparkling lights throughout the garden. Stroll through an ever-changing display of colour.

Pack a flashlight and dress for the weather (rain or shine - extreme weather exceptions).

Please leave your 4-legged friends at home.

Monday, November 5

A quiet night with just the lights.
Tuesday, November 6

Diwali-inspired music, food and performers.

Construct collaborative lanterns with mentoring artists Roxanne Charles and Debbie Westergaard Tuepah at nearby Surrey Art Gallery from 4 to 5pm. Take them out for a walk afterwards at the Garden Light Festival!

Transportation
Free Park & Ride Shuttle

A free Park & Ride shuttle service will be available on November 4, 6 and 10 from 14033 92 Avenue (School District Education Centre) and will drop riders at the Bear Creek parking lot off 140 Street and 86A Avenue.
Parking

Parking is available at both 88th Avenue and 140th Street parking lots. It will be busy. Consider taking the shuttle, carpooling or walking to the festival.
Bear Creek Park Light Festival is Going Green!

Bear Creek Park Light Festival is striving towards zero waste. Green Chair Recycling has been appointed to help with this. Clearly labelled recycling stations will be located throughout the event and will be supervised by volunteers.

You can help us achieve zero waste by bringing a reusable drink bottle/ cup, plates, knives and forks. Be sure to only take what you need (giveaways, leaflets and uneaten foods).
