The Spirit of the Sea Festival is an annual weekend-long celebration in the proud community of White Rock, British Columbia. A variety of events span more than 2 kilometers along the waterfront overlooking the silver beaches of Semiahmoo Bay. This is a family oriented celebration of the water, land and life of the Semiahmoo Peninsula. Driven by the dedication and spirit of community partners, donors and volunteers, the Festival has evolved into a world-class event. Join us for a wonderful, summertime tradition.

This weekend wwill be full of free fun for the whole family, including a children's carnival and parade, beach games and races, fireworks and continuous live entertainment.

Children’s Walking Parade: Saturday July 31, 9:45/10am
Torchlight Parade: Saturday July 31st 2010. It starts at 9:00pm from Oxford St and runs east to Semiahmoo Park (Parker St).
Spirit Stage: Saturday: 11am - 4pm ~ Sunday: 1pm - 4pm
Cupcake's Teddy Bear Picnic: Sunday August 1, 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Children’s Pirate Parade: Korki the clown & friends and more! 7th Annual Children’s Walking Parade on Sat July 31 at 10am. Kids decorate your bikes, strollers, scooters.. Wear their favourite costume or dress for a fun filled day!

Cupcake’s Teddy Bear Picnic: Bring your favorite Teddy Bear or Snuggly to the Teddy Bear Picnic for a health check and a Hug.This year we have a new name in honour of our Funny Friend Cupcake who originated this wonderful event. With smiles in our hearts we invite you to join us as we cut the ribbon and continue Cupcakes’ Caring legacy.
