Location:
Grouse Mountain is an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, located in the city of North Vancouver.

Directions: Follow Georgia Street through Stanley Park and across the Lion's Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive, then left up Capilano Road for 5 km (3.1 miles).
Or, from the Ironworkers' Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, follow Highway #1 westbound to Capilano Road Exit North.

Age Group:
Babies: Not appropriate, but fine if they tag along with other kids.

Toddlers: Great for running around and looking at what is around them!

Older children: They will enjoy the outdoors, shows, sky ride and winter activities!

Sky ride
The Skyride departs every 15 minutes from 9 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week.

Lumberjack Show
This 45-minute show runs daily at
12:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm, from May through mid-October

Birds in Motion
Flying Demonstrations are offered three times daily at 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm from May to September.

Theatre in the Sky
Shows run daily, every hour on the hour from 10am to 9pm

Sky ride
To get to the top of Grouse Mountain you board a sky ride! Step onboard the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride, and get ready to experience a one-mile journey like no other.
You are well above towering Douglas fir, breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, sparkling Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands, and snowy peaks unfold as you journey up the mountainside. North America's largest aerial tramway is your gateway to the majestic nature of the Peak of Vancouver, and an experience in itself.

ENTERTAINMENT
Grouse Mountain has a host of entertaining shows to make your BC experience even more memorable. Enjoy live music from breathtaking vantage points, watch Born to Fly in the Theatre in the Sky and be dazzled by the skill and showmanship of world-class lumberjacks.

Presented at the Theatre in the Sky, Grouse Mountain's
high-definition cinema experience, "Born to Fly" takes you up close on a dramatic journey through the scenic beauty of BC. This stunning documentary reveals the highest peaks of BC's mountains, the sparkle of ocean whitecaps and the lushness of rainforest, all from an eagle's perspective.

You will also uncover the story of Grouse Mountain's intriguing history - as a destination for hikers and nature lovers for over 100 years.
Shows run daily, every hour on the hour from 10am to 9pm and are complimentary with your Grouse Mountain Admission. It's a flight you won't soon forget, so be sure to stop in.
World Famous Lumberjack Show.

How fast can you climb a 60-foot tree? Perhaps not quite as fast as the two world-class lumberjacks in Grouse Mountain's World Famous Lumberjack Show.
Recreating the historic world of a logging camp, two lumberjacks will dazzle and amaze you with their skills, tricks and showmanship. Among the challenges are a 60-foot tree climb, an axe-throwing competition, and the always exhilarating log-rolling.
This 45-minute show runs daily at 12:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm, from May through mid-October, and is complimentary with your Grouse Mountain Admission.

Birds in Motion
Now Grouse Mountain Resorts Ltd., in cooperation with Pacific Northwest Raptors, invites you to witness some of nature's finest athletes demonstrate what they do best - "free flight".
Located atop Grouse Mountain, nestled amongst natural forest habitats of the spectacular BC Coast Mountain Range, the "Birds in Motion" amphitheatre affords you a chance to sit back and relax, while you enjoy these amazing birds against one of the world's most dazzling scenic backdrops.

"Birds in Motion" is an educational and enjoyable experience for birdwatchers, naturalists, raptor enthusiasts, and visitors alike. Flying Demonstrations are offered three times daily at 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm from May to September.

The Peak of Christmas
During the month of December, the spirit of Christmas comes alive with a magical celebration and a multitude of festivities on top of Grouse Mountain.
Bring your family to Santa's Workshop and meet reindeer, or take a sleigh ride* through our mystical alpine forest. You can also experience the tranquil beauty of skating on our 8,000 square foot mountaintop Ice Skating Pond, surrounded by snow-topped trees.

Visit the Theatre in the Sky to enjoy classic Christmas movies on our large high-definition screen. Or listen to joyful Christmas carols sung by the enchanting voices of Vancouver choirs.
These fabulous Peak of Christmas activities are all complimentary with your Grouse Mountain Admission, Annual Membership, Winter Pass, or Lift Ticket.

*The sleigh ride requires adequate snow coverage over all areas of the plateau in order to operate. Please check our Mountain Report before your visit to confirm its availability during your visit.
