Information:
The Langley Centennial Museum is owned and operated by the Township
of Langley and is located in the historic Village of Fort Langley.
As our name implies, the Museum was a provincial centennial project,
although our collections and involvement with heritage dates back
to the 1920s with the community organization, Native Sons. The
Museum opened in 1958 and today, after more than 40 years of offering
exhibits, programs and other heritage services we continue to
grow and expand our role in the community of Langley.

Babies & Toddlers: Not appropriate, but fine if they tag along
with other kids.
Older children: Looks of neat workshops and programs they can
enjoy!

What
is there to Do and See?
There is a total of 3500 square feet of exhibit galleries; the
National Exhibition Centre space features changing temporary exhibits
on a variety of topics including art, science and history.
Plan you own tour of our History and Native galleries that show
the early days of Langley plus the current exhibit in our temporary
gallery space. Call the Museum for more details.
The National Exhibition Centre of the Langley Centennial Museum
is used to display temporary art, history or science exhibitions
with a local, regional, national, or international focus. Let
the ever-changing exhibits in the NEC delight you. Look for dinosaurs,
or quilts, or a collection of Canadian Art! You will be surprised
by what you see and by what may be coming next.

and also unique gifts.

The Langley Centennial Museum offers fun, self-guided family or
small group activities. Buildings On Your Back architectural walking
tour, Fort Langley Cemetery walking tour, Discovery Cupboard,
and Museum Mystery Cards are available on a drop-in basis.
$7 per small group
Canada Day
Visit the Langley Centennial Museum to celebrate Canada's birthday.
Birthday cake, entertainment, activities, and old fashioned kids
games are part of this multicultural celebration.
11am-3pm ~ by donation. Check web site for dates and times!
Craft &
Create
Get creative this summer! Come to the Museum this summer and participate
in this popular program. Each day has something different and
fun! Tie Dye, Pioneer Picnic, Lochiel One-Room School, Stained
Glass, Designer Desserts, Printmaking, and Wacky Science. Call
the Museum at 604-888-3922 for details. Ages 6-9 or for 9-12 years
