What is there to Do and See?
Childrens' Slides

Five slides totalling 125 ft. and six pools make up the Childrens slide area - lots of room and variety!

Childrens' Splash Park

This kiddie splash area was added in 1993, providing more for every age group in the family.

Splashdown's Main Pool

The largest of the three receiving pools also has plenty of space for water playing. This pool holds the bulk of the 242,000 gallons of water, all kept at a comfortable 25 - 29°C (76 - 84°F).

The Giant Hot Tub

A large, 10,000 gallon hot tub is maintained at approximately 37°C (100°F) - refreshing and therapeutic!

The Ramp Slide

The 46ft. ramp slide offers a different body slide experience - with a landing into the main pool.

Big Jim's River Run

Just like a river, this tube slide offers 320 feet of sometimes leisurely and sometimes hairy navigation all ending with a great splash into the main receiving pool. (using a tube!)

Intermediate Body Slides...

Splashdown also has two intermediate body slides: Double Trouble and Loop The Loop. These slides offer a slightly slower ride for those who want to keep their stomachs! These slides spiral and swirl their way into the same 3'6" deep, 27C (80F) receiving pool!

Our Advanced Body Slides...

From the top of the slides, right to left: "Oliver Twist", "Kamikazi", and the "Corkscrew" are 425 ft. of sheer twists, turns and thrills. The "Whipper Snapper" is 395 ft... less turns make for a longer straight-down section for serious speed!

The Black Hole

This area actually has two tube slides: the Black Hole, and the Bonsai Blueline. These completely enclosed "pipes" offer a comletely different sliding experience. The Black Hole is so dark you can't see what's coming, while the Bonsai Blueline offers enough light to give the riders some warning of the ride ahead. A great hit with all, but these slides have a height restriction: only those 48 inches and above allowed. Enjoy!

Grass Areas

All grass areas have tents for groups, bbq's and picnic tables. Three acres were added to Splashdown Waterpark's original 4.25 offering extra space for volleyball and basketball, shade trees and additional grass for lounging and games.

Volleyball

There are two volleyball courts to add variety to each guest's stay at Splashdown. Sign out a ball at Guest Services.

1. Birng bathing suit, towels and sun tan lotion!
2. Bring extra towels, as you will come back an forth going back to the slides!
