Mountain Park

Blue Mountain
Park has something to offer everyone. Set in amongst an urban
forest, you'll find a variety of park amenities from quiet picnic
areas to sports facilities and tennis courts. This park has an
impressive spray park, wading pool and playground for children
including a wheelchair accessible playground. Enjoy the many amenities
that this park has to offer or simply lounge on the grass under
the shade of a tall douglas fir.

Burns
Park
802 Edgar Street - Central Coquitlam
Burns Park is a smaller neighbourhood park situated in Central
Coquitlam, which provides residents with a playground and spray
park to enjoy.

Eagle
Ridge Park
2635 Runnel Drive
Built mainly
under the hydro right-of-way corridor in Eagle Ridge, this park
has features to meet almost every leisure need. Swimmers and tennis
players can enjoy facilities at the corner of Guildford Way and
Lansdowne Drive which also provides a playground for children
to enjoy. The right-of-way area of this park has a playground
off Harrier Drive, but is also home to a number of soccer fields,
a baseball field, and a lacrosse box.

Mackin
Park
1046 Brunette Avenue
A beautiful
park located in historic Maillardville, Mackin Park offers visitors
many amenities to enjoy. Three softball fields and one Little
League baseball field are key features of this park in the summer.
On almost any evening, one can stop by to watch a game being played.
In the winter, the two Class A fields are home to many soccer,
football, and cricket teams. If organized sport is not your leisure
choice, one can enjoy the perimeter trail for taking a leisurely
stroll around the fields and along Nelson Creek. There are two
tennis courts and one practice court for users to enjoy and children
can frolic away an afternoon playing in the playground or enjoying
the children's wading pool in the summer.

Mundy
Park

Mundy Park,
Coquitlam's largest park, is a stunning example of an urban nature
forest. Located in west Coquitlam, this park is home to some of
the best urban nature trails in the Lower Mainland. Visitors can
enjoy a long, leisurely stroll under the forest canopy lost in
the tranquility of nature at its best. The Mundy Park trail system
incorporates a loop trail around Mundy Lake and passes by Lost
Lake on the east side of the park.
Visitors can take self guided nature walks through the park with
assistance from a publication available through the Leisure and
Parks Services office. In addition to the jogging and walking
opportunities the trails provide, Mundy Park has many other amenities
to offer visitors. There are two combination Class A soccer and
softball fields, a combination B soccer and softball field, a
Little League baseball field, and a Class A soccer and senior
baseball field. In addition, there is a lacrosse box and outdoor
swimming pool, as well as a large picnic area and playground for
children. Visitors also have the opportunity to try their hand
at frisbee golf on the nine hole course located near the ponds
on the west side of the park. Mundy Park is a location not to
be missed!

Panorama
Park
1481 Johnson Street
Located on
Westwood Plateau, Panorama Park provides visitors with two softball
and a Class A soccer field overlooking the City Centre area. Lit
tennis courts allow users to play well into the evening, while
families can enjoy a picnic next to the playground and children
can cool down in the spray park operating in the summer season.

Rochester
Outdoor Pool is a 25yd X 10yd heated outdoor swimming pool. The
pool is ideally suited to small children and their families as
the depth is only two and a half to five feet deep. It has heated
showers and change room facilities. This pool is a great location
for playing out in the sun or having a picnic. There is an enclosed
grass area and picnic tables for public enjoyment. Our food concession
has the old favorites like pop, freezies, chips and chocolate
bars as well as healthy choices such as granola bars, juice and
fruit leather. Swimming lessons are offered here as well as public
swim opportunities.

Spani
Outdoor Pool

Spani Pool
is a heated outdoor swimming pool featuring eight 25 metre lanes
and a dive tank with two one meter springboards. These features
are suitable for competitive swimming which make this pool the
ideal home for the Coquitlam Sharks Swim Club. Spani is located
in the midst of Mundy Park and is surrounded by grass and trees.
The main tank is three feet deep in the shallow end and five feet
six inches in the deep end, with an adjacent diving tank that
is 10 feet deep. Although outdoor, Spani lacks none of the necessities:
warm showers, separate changeroom facilities and a Sharks sponsored
concession. Swimming lessons , diving lessons, and swim camps
are offered here as well as public swim opportunities.

Town
Centre Park
1299 Pinetree Way
Coquitlam's City Centre is highlighted by Town Centre Park and
Lafarge Lake. This park development has just completed phase 2
of its master plan and features three Class A fields in addition
to a state of the art lit artificial turf field. The centerpiece
of this park is the award winning stadium featuring a first class
soccer/football field, rubberized eight lane running track, and
track and field facilities. Children can enjoy the tot lot year
round, while the water spray park is open during the summer to
keep everyone cool. If rollerblading, jogging, or walking are
more to one's liking, then the asphalt walkways around Lafarge
Lake and the east arboretum/meadow are the perfect facility for
you. Tennis players can enjoy the use of eight lit courts year
round. With the continued development of this park, it is sure
to become one of the best park facilities in the Lower Mainland.
