The park borders the Alouette River, has barbecue pits,
picnic tables, foot and riding trails. Woodland setting
that offers peace and quiet. Watch the salmon spawn in the fall.
Located north of Dewdney Trunk Rd on 248 Street.

, huge cedar trees and excellent recreation area. One
kilometer walk to Bell-Irving Hatchery. Drive on Dewdney Trunk
Rd to 252 Street and turn south to Park. a spectacular water canyon
popular as a picnic spot. The Canyon Trail offers a treasure trove
of natural wonders in a short distance. Nursery logs, sword ferns,
towering Cedar, Hemlock and Douglas Fir trees serve as a backdrop
for the tumbling and cascading creek. Intriguing water-sculpted
rock and sandstone formations are visible on both branches of
the creek. Because of the precipitous cliffs, it is absolutely
essential to follow the directional signs and not to stray beyond
marked boundaries on any part of the Cliff Falls trail system.

Start from the Museum on 116th Avenue off 225th Street to the
Public Wharf at the bottom of 224th Street & River Road
Follow a paved footpath from the Maple Ridge Museum to historic
Haney House and along to Port Haney Wharf. The historic buildings
of Port Haney, St. Andrew's Heritage Church, the Masonic Hall,
the 1911 Bank of Montreal, and a 1930 Japanese kindergarten, identified
by plaques and interpretive material, help bring history alive
on this walk through the past.

Golden Ears Provincial Park
Located at the east end of Maple Ridge, north of the Fraser River.
From the Southern-most edge of the park, it runs 55km north, until
it meets its boundary - Garibaldi Provincial Park. The two parks
were once joined together but now large mountain peaks and extremely
steep valleys separate the two. (North on 232nd Street, follow
the park signs)
It is well known for its extensive system of hiking and walking
trails. These trails vary in length and difficulty making it simple
to find a trail that suits your needs. Whether you're looking
to stroll along the Lower Falls trail or tackle the Golden Ears
or Alouette Mountain Hiking Trail, you are sure to be delighted
by the phenomenal country scenery. Keep an eye out for breath-taking
waterfalls, beautiful mountain tops and a wide variety of wildlife,
including deer and beavers. Walking or hiking through this park
is sure to bring you much delight, and probably a few surprises
along the way!

of 232nd Street and Fern Crescent, this park offers a campground,
picnic areas, washrooms, a baseball diamond, a horseshoe pitch

is open to the public on a weather permitting, seasonal basis.
