WATER PARK LOCATIONS:
THE
SPRAY PARK
Our fabulous water parks have loads of toys, activities, good
times and refreshing water to make your summer the best ever.
All facilities are located in parks with playgrounds and picnic
tables close by, making them perfect destinations for your summer
outings. There is no admission fee for our spray parks.
SUPER
SUMMER LEADERS
The New Westminster Parks and Recreation Department staffs our
spray parks with super summer leaders who provide spontaneous
and creative activities. This free service is available on good
weather days only and hours vary. Please call the Queen's Park
Arenex at 604-777-5121 for details.
HOW
THE SPRAY PARKS WORK
All spray parks are manually activated and run on 15 minute cycles
to conserve water.
Grimston Wading Pool
Seventh Avenue and 19th Street
Grimston Park is located in a beautiful open setting with plenty
of grassy surroundings for a picnic with your friends and family.
Here you'll find an adventure playground, tennis courts with a
wading pool in the center of the park. The wading pool will be
filled and supervised daily during the summer, except for rainy
and cold days.
Hours of Operation: June 30 to Labour Day 12:00 to 4:00 pm
Hume Park - Water Park
Lower Hume Access: East Columbia Street and Hoult Street
Upper Hume Access: Kelly Street and Braid Street
Tennis, Spray park, Adventure playground, Goodies Concessions
Sports fields, (3 baseball/softball diamonds, 1 soccer), Washrooms,
Outdoor pool, Dog Off-leash zone
Lacrosse box, Trails and Greenways, Picnic shelter and areas
Moody Park - Water Park
Eighth Street and Eighth Avenue
Moody Park is a cornerstone of the Brow of the Hill Community
with its beautiful open spaces, fields and recreation amenities.
Come out and enjoy all that this destination park provides!

Queen's Park - Water Park

New Westminster's flagship park is a destination for every family,
business or community need. Enjoy the many trails, flowers, sporting
opportunities, petting farm, playgrounds and wedding facilities.

920 Ewen Avenue (behind Queensborough Community Centre)
Ryall Park is a focal point for the Queensborough Community. The
park features many athletic and family opportunities including
Megan's Place playground.

Centre, Trails and Greenways, Picnic shelter and area, Spray park,

Sapperton Park - Water Park
Columbia Street & Sherbrooke Street
It provides the Sapperton neighbourhood with a large park for
children, families and sporting activities. Over the years, the
park undergone several renovations and additions to meet community
needs.
