Ash
Park
8288 Ash Street (@ W 68th Avenue)
In Ash Park, children can play in the shade
of the soaring poplar trees. A curving path is perfect for a morning
stroll, with several benches for reading the paper or enjoying
a lunch outdoors.

Eburne Park
950 W 71st Avenue (@ Oak Street)
Dominated
by four tennis courts, Eburne Park sits in the heart of the Marpole
neighbourhood. Sprawling cherry trees put on a fantastic show
in spring; spots to sit and relax are pleasant all year.

Marpole Park
1410 W 72nd Avenue (@ Cartier Street)
As marked
by a stone cairn in the park, this was the site of a large midden
for one of the largest village sites in North America. Today,
this small park is a popular place for children to play. Surrounded
by trees, the roar of airplanes from the nearby airport in Richmond
can be heard above the chatter of happy children.

Oak Park
900 W 59th Avenue (@ Oak Street)
With an outstanding
number of recreation opportunities, Oak Park is a lively and welcoming
place. It also offers many winding paths throughout the park,
picnic areas, and some wonderful trees. The spraypark is a big
attraction for children in hot weather.

Park
Park Site on Shaughnessy Street
Shaughnessy Street & Fraser River
This park
site is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views of the Fraser
River and Richmond beyond. A beautiful picnic shelter and sandy
beach volleyball area make this a pleasant and distinctive place
to spend an afternoon.
Riverview Park
1751 W 66th Avenue (@ Angus Drive)
With rolling
lawns dotted with large, beautiful trees, Riverview Park is a
peaceful place for a stroll. The park offers both open and sheltered
areas, including a children’s playground.

Shannon Park
1575 W 62nd Avenue (@ Adera Street)
This small
park, situated in a quiet neighbourhood, is a pleasant place to
enjoy a morning or evening stroll. A baseball diamond and field
dominate the park, providing plenty of open space, and majestic
birch trees line the surrounding walkways.

William Mackie Park
1592 W 71st Avenue (@ SW Marine Drive)
This small
but well-used park is tucked into a green corner of the Marpole
neighbourhood. From the welcoming entry plaza, step down into
a shady retreat filled with trees and flowering shrubs; children
enjoy both the playground and the central grassy area.

Winona Park
7575 Columbia Street (@ W 59th Avenue)
The long,
green terraces of Winona Park are popular for a variety of sports.
Pleasant seating areas, sheltered by large shade trees, line these
open fields and are perfect for quiet contemplation or conversation.
