China
Creek North Park
1001 E 7th Avenue (@ Clark Drive)
China Creek
North is a large open space with a popular jogging track, open
fields, and playground. Some of the most interesting views in
the area can be had from the high point of the park, including
the North Shore Mountains and the remaining industrial areas of
Southeast False Creek.
Recreation Facilities: Adult Softball, Basketball Court, Jogging

China Creek South Park
1255 E 10th Avenue (@ Glen Drive)
Informal pathways
wind through the trees of China Creek South, leading to Vancouver’s
first skate park. The park offers plenty of space to relax or
play a game of catch.

Guelph Park
2390 Brunswick Street (@ E 7th Avenue)
Guelph Park
is an ideal place for morning exercise or an evening stroll. An
open walkway in the centre of the park connects a tree-lined field
and a recreation area with playground and tennis courts. Whether
visiting the park to sit on a shaded bench or to play a game of
tennis, Guelph is sure to be a pleasant retreat.

Jonathan
Rogers Park

Jonathan Rogers
Park offers playing fields, playground, and spots for resting;
a lovely community garden adds colour and vitality to the park.
Relax on the grassy slopes and take in the views of downtown Vancouver,
or bring a sled to celebrate a rare Vancouver snowfall.

Major Matthews Park

This small
park has plenty of comfortable seats and pleasant inward views.
Children enjoy the playground, and the gazebo is a wonderful place
to sip lemonade or play some tunes on a guitar.

Pleasant Park

This small
park is often full of activity, used in conjunction with the busy
community centre. The popular playground areas are shaded by large
trees, and several tables present inviting opportunities for a
picnic lunch.

Robson
Park
599 Kingsway (@ St. George Street)
Robson Park
is a gateway from a busy road into a colourful neighbourhood.
Stroll past the lovely community gardens, or bring a blanket and
relax on the grass. The park is named for the Honourable John
Robson, Premier of British Columbia at the time of Vancouver’s
incorporation.

Sahalli
Park
E 7th Avenue & Fraser Street
Red brick
paths wind through Sahalli Park, defining small green spaces perfect
for picnicking, resting, or viewing the neighbourhood from atop
one of the knolls. The playground and community garden adds colour
and animation to this welcoming park.
Tea Swamp Park
266 E 15th Avenue (@ Sophia Street)
Tea Swamp Park is a small and beautiful park that is
a pleasure to visit. Between a striking arbour and colourful community
gardens, a curving dry stone stream and pathway slope down to
a playground and rose-lined seating area. The name is a reminder
of the Labrador tea plants that once flourished in the area.
