Cambie Park
500 W 54th Avenue (@ Cambie Street)
Dramatic giant redwood
trees separate this small park from busy Cambie Street. The open
lawn is perfect for throwing a ball, taking a leisurely autumn
stroll, or enjoying the summer sunshine.
Columbia Park
5908 Alberta Street (@ W 42nd Avenue)
Columbia Park’s
playground and wading pool are popular in the summer, and the
large open fields are used by many people in the neighbourhood.
This peaceful park is pleasant for a relaxing stroll in all seasons.

Langara Park
W 49th Avenue & Columbia Street
A small piece of land
bridging Langara College and the South Slope YMCA, the Langara
Park Site offers both grand shade trees and a pleasant open lawn.
A portion of the lovely winding path that circumnavigates the
Langara Golf Course passes through this site.
Montgomery Park
1040 W 43rd Avenue (@ Montgomery Street)
A good place for an
energizing stroll, Montgomery Park’s open fields are surrounded
by trees. This is an ideal spot to get together for an informal
game of soccer or to fly a kite on a breezy day. The park is named
for its bounding street.

Tisdall Park
6210 Tisdall Street (@ W 49th Avenue)
Throughout the day,
people visit Tisdall Park to walk the curving paths that surround
the park. The magnificent catalpa trees provide ample shade to
stop for lunch, a chat, or even a game of cards. The park is named
for its bounding street.
