George
Park
500 E 63rd Avenue (@ St. George Street)
With rolling
hills covered in a lovely collection of coniferous and deciduous
trees, George Park is a particularly pleasant place to stroll.
The picnic shelter is a popular gathering place for people in
the neighbourhood.

MacDonald
Park
300 E 44th Avenue (@ Prince Edward Street)
A peaceful
neighbourhood park, MacDonald has ample space for a game of tennis,
playing on the swings, throwing a ball, or relaxing on a bench.
For those who prefer quieter activities, the breeze rustles wonderfully
through the many trees, and pathways along the perimeter and through
the park make for a pleasant stroll.

Memorial
South Park
5950 Prince Albert Street (@ E 41st Avenue)
This large
park is enjoyed by sports teams and neighbours alike. The formal
tree-lined entry leads to the war memorial that gives the park
its name; the track beyond is a popular place to exercise and
socialize. The pond is a quiet place to watch the dragonflies
and ducks.

Moberly
Park
7646 Prince Albert Street (@ E 59th Avenue)
Moberly occupies
a bench of land overlooking south Vancouver and Richmond, offering
expansive views that are impressive in all seasons. Towering trees
create a shaded grove for the playground and fieldhouse.

Ross Park
7402 Ross Street (@ E 59th Avenue)
Ross Park’s
trees and rolling lawns create a space that is enjoyed by many
people for tai chi, relaxing and chatting with friends, or going
for a stroll. The picnic shelter is a cozy place for a leisurely
lunch or for taking cover from the rain.

Sunset
Park
404 E 51st Avenue (@ Prince Edward Street)
Sunset Park is a wonderful place for both kids and adults to play.
It features play areas, wide green spaces, and a pleasant perimeter
walk lined with delicately scented linden trees. In the summer,
the park is filled with the sounds of joyful yells and splashing
from the community centre’s popular outdoor pool.
