Fridge Magnets
I created fridge magnets for my infant son of all the family members not living near us. This way he can become familar with their faces and I was so happy with the result I extended it to a type of make your own picture magnet.
I used magnetic paper bought from Micheal's as well as Spray adhesive and acrylic finish. I cut the size of the picture either from a photo of the person or out of a magazine then traced it onto the magnetic paper. I cut out the tracing and sprayed it with the adhesive after drying I sprayed the top with tie acrylic and allowed to dry over night though that step isn't needed. All spraying should be done in a well ventilated room not around small children.
I will try and post photos of this later when I have charged my camera's battery.
I used old national geographic's for the second project and have an under the sea theme with a water background and fish and coral cut out.
This project is also good for older children as the magnetic paper can be painted on as well then just sealed with the finishing spray later when the paint dries.
