Where to host a birthday party for a one year old?

Any venues/ ideas or suggestions as to where to host a 1 yr old birthday party... going to be mainly adults...

If the party is during summer

If the party is during summer time, nothing better than having a picnic/bbq at the park! Easy, no mess at home and everybody can be happy. 

If you have a friend with a backyard, why not using it? It can be great.

My daughter's birthday is just before Christmas, so it's hard to find a good place. If she was born during summer, I'll do it in the park, for sure!

This is difficult I just celebrated my son's 1st birthday. Usually the first 2 birthday's I feel are low key but when they have siblings it become a bigger event. I did decide to just have it in my home. I think it would depend on the age of all the kids. If its all adults and you don't want to have it at home rent a hall or if its nice out have it at a park, make it a picnic or a bbq! Hope that helps, good luck!
